Mediclinic Middle East is seeking a network engineer to contribute to design, documentation, implementation, and operation of enterprise network services across hospitals, clinics, offices, and data centres. The role spans architecture, operations, security, and vendor governance within a consolidated engineering model.

Contributes to and supports the design, documentation, implementation, reliability, security and operation of Mediclinic Middle East enterprise network services, including LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, NAC, VPN, internet connectivity, cloud connectivity and related data communications systems across hospitals, clinics, corporate offices and data centre environments. Operates within a consolidated engineering model where the engineer contributes across architecture, engineering, operations, security, project delivery, vendor governance, technology lifecycle management and continuous service improvement across multiple network domains.
Assist in documenting, designing and improving network services architecture
Monitor, maintain, update and secure network equipment and services
Identify, diagnose and resolve network infrastructure incidents and problems
Own and support network security, segmentation, firewall governance, NAC, wireless architecture, WAN resilience and cloud connectivity services
Support ITIL governance, CMDB accuracy, vendor governance, procurement input, DR testing, project delivery and cross-functional collaboration
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION Bachelor degree in computer science or ICT related field. Professional level industry certifications for Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba/Extreme or equivalent.
DESIRED EDUCATION ITIL Foundation. Master degree in computer sciences majoring or specialising in networks and security. Microsoft, Linux, cloud networking, security or vendor platform certifications.
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE At least 3-5 years experience in ICT network support and design environment. For current Mediclinic enterprise scale and consolidated engineering delivery, 10+ years enterprise network experience is preferred for senior-level delivery.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE At least 2 years networking experience with Microsoft and Linux platforms, Security such as Firewalls, IPS, NAC, and Wireless Networks. Experience with enterprise firewalls, Cisco ISE/NAC, SD-WAN, Azure connectivity, high-density wireless, WAN/ISP services, SolarWinds, ITIL and healthcare environments is preferred.
