Job summary

Amazon Web Services in Dubai seeks a Senior Network Development Engineer to design and architect networks supporting global connectivity and scalable infrastructure. You will influence cross-functional teams and drive high-availability solutions across regions.

The role focuses on routing protocols, traffic engineering, and design excellence, contributing to the resilience of AWSs global backbone and customer connectivity. UAE national with family book eligibility applies.

Qualifications

3+ years of automation scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, Perl).
8+ years of major internet routing protocols experience (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
5+ years in a Linux/Unix environment.
Experience with debugging/troubleshooting of large-scale networks.
Experience with global network infrastructure design and capacity planning.
Expertise in traffic engineering and routing policy development.

Responsibilities

Design and architect network topologies to support Amazons global connectivity requirements.
Develop and defend high-level design documents for network infrastructure.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps.
Construct test and validate network solutions that anticipate future needs.
Serve as a technical escalation point for network operations teams.
