Job summary

Aventus Global is seeking an experienced Network Architect in the UAE to lead enterprise firewall assessment, policy optimization, and migration governance across IT, data centers, and cloud environments.

You will own discovery, rule-base analysis, and high-availability reviews, design consolidation plans, and oversee change, testing, and rollback during critical maintenance windows. Excellent client-facing communication and regional experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in network architecture, cybersecurity, and firewall management.
• Hands-on experience across IT, data center, and cloud infrastructures.
• Expertise in firewall assessment, inventory discovery, rule-base analysis, and HA reviews.
• Deep proficiency across Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, and Check Point platforms.
• Experience in rule hygiene, identifying shadowed/redundant rules, and decommissioning.
• Strong governance in change management, testing, and production maintenance windows.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Eligible to work onsite in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Lead firewall discovery, inventory collection, and segmentation reviews across IT, DC, and cloud environments.
• Perform deep-dive rule hygiene assessments to establish cleanup standards.
• Map traffic flows, define trust boundaries, security zones, and OT discovery frameworks.
• Develop consolidation and decommissioning plans with per-device dispositions and wave schedules.
• Govern change management, testing protocols, and rollback procedures for production windows.
• Produce architecture models, reduction registers, and execution frameworks for firewall optimization.
• Apply multi-vendor firewall expertise across Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, and Check Point.
• Collaborate with enterprise clients, internal teams, and executives to ensure alignment.
