Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Design & Application (MV Switchgear) to execute detailed design, protection relay engineering, and application support for AIS/GIS up to 36kV. You will prepare SLDs, GA drawings, and interlocking logic; perform short-circuit, thermal, and busbar sizing; ensure IEC 62271 compliance; and support FAT and site queries.

5–10 years MV switchgear experience and AutoCAD/EPLAN proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years MV switchgear design experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62271 series and protection standards (IEC 60255).
• Hands-on experience with numerical relays (ABB/Siemens/Schneider).

Responsibilities

• Design and review MV switchgear schematics, wiring diagrams, and interlocking logic.
• Perform protection relay calculations and programming per project philosophy.
• Review customer specifications and support sales with technical clarifications.
• Assist FAT, commissioning, and site-related questions during manufacturing.
