Job summary
Ultiwiseconsult is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead the complete electrical design of MV and LV power distribution systems from concept through detailed engineering in Dubai. You will prepare design calculations, equipment specs, technical bid evaluations, and support procurement, FAT, installation, and commissioning.
The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power, or infrastructure projects, with strong skills in
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering for industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in MV/LV design, SLDs, load lists, and cable sizing.
- Experience with protection coordination studies and arc flash awareness.
Responsibilities
- Design MV and LV power distribution systems and prepare SLDs.
- Develop load flow, short circuit, voltage drop calculations and cable sizing.
- Perform protective relay coordination and equipment sizing calculations.
- Prepare wiring, cable tray, grounding, and lighting layouts.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Automation disciplines.
- Support FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
