Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Global Markets Risk Service team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering and enhancing risk systems and processes, collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in risk management, Murex, and regulatory frameworks, with strong communication skills and a track record in large financial institutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a Bank or IT company.
• 7–10 years supporting and developing risk systems in Global Markets.
• 5–7 years of Murex experience.
• Strong understanding of risk functions (credit exposures, VaR, SIMM, FRTB).
• Familiarity with EMIR, SA-CCR, FRTB regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Risk Service Lead to implement and support risk solutions across Global Markets.
• Analyze and resolve issues and change requests for risk systems, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for risk technology enhancements.
• Support automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements (EMIR, SA-CCR, FRTB).
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing KPIs to track performance.
