Job summary

Dicetek LLC is seeking a Senior Product Owner to define and prioritize the Murex product backlog, translating complex treasury and capital markets requirements into actionable user stories. You will collaborate with traders, risk managers, and operations to ensure the Murex solution aligns with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Treasury, Capital Markets or Banking Technology.

• Knowledge of market data, data warehouses and downstream Treasury systems.

Job description

Define and prioritize the Murex product backlog translating complex business needs into actionable user stories for treasury and capital markets functionalities Collaborate closely with business stakeholders traders risk managers operations to gather requirements and ensure the Murex solution aligns with strategic objectives Drive the Murex implementation and enhancement roadmap focusing on optimizing trading risk management and post-trade processing workflows Champion agile methodologies facilitating sprint planning reviews and retrospectives to ensure efficient delivery of Murex features

Required Skills

• Strong Product Owner capability across product strategy, roadmap management, value-based prioritization, backlog ownership, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT and release planning.
• Excellent Treasury and Capital Markets domain knowledge covering FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Securities, Collateral and associated trade-lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of Murex front-to-back capabilities and interfaces with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, STP portals, market-data providers, APIs, messaging, batch processing, ETL, data warehouses and downstream systems.
• Ability to engage business and technical stakeholders, challenge requirements, resolve competing priorities and convert complex needs into deliverable product outcomes.
• Ability to analyse functional and technical issues using SQL, application logs, interface files, data reconciliation and structured root-cause analysis.
• Experience managing production support, incidents, problem management, change governance, UAT and controlled releases in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, negotiation, facilitation, decision-making and executive communication skills.

Required Experience / Knowledge Areas

• 12+ years of experience in Treasury, Capital Markets or Banking Technology, including at least 7 years in Product Owner, Business Analysis or delivery-leadership roles.
• Mandatory hands-on Murex experience, including front-to-back processes and integration with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, STP portals, market-data providers, data warehouses and downstream Treasury systems.
• Proven experience owning a complex technology product or platform from strategy and discovery through implementation, production adoption and continuous improvement.
• Experience delivering capabilities across trade capture, pricing, valuation, risk, confirmations, settlements, accounting, P&L and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of market and counterparty risk concepts, including sensitivities, limits, collateral, CVA, liquidity and capital-markets controls.
• Understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, technology governance, operational resilience, information security, audit and regulatory control requirements in banking.

Certifications Required

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, PMP or PRINCE2 preferred; ITIL is an advantage
