Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Integration Specialist to join our Platform Integration Team. This senior-level role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex system integrations across the Global Markets technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of investment banking platforms, and extensive experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.

The successful candidate will lead integration initiatives, drive vendor evaluations and RFP processes, and ensure seamless connectivity across trading, post-trade, and market data platforms while maintaining high standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end system integrations across the Global Markets technology ecosystem.
• Lead strategic integration initiatives supporting business transformation and platform modernization.
• Act as the primary coordinator between architecture, infrastructure, application development teams, and third-party technology vendors.
• Define and implement appropriate integration patterns, including APIs, FIX protocol, IBM MQ messaging, and file-based integrations.
• Evaluate vendor technologies and lead technical assessments, including preparation and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to ensure integration solutions align with business and technology standards.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive integration documentation, technical specifications, interface designs, and data flow diagrams.
• Manage vendor engagements, including solution evaluations, integration planning, requirement discussions, and delivery tracking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners while monitoring vendor product roadmaps to proactively assess integration impacts.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and operational requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout project delivery and production implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in system integration within financial markets, investment banking, or capital markets technology.
• Proven experience integrating external platforms across trade execution, RFQ, post-trade processing, and market data environments.
• Strong understanding of financial products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange (FX), Derivatives, and end-to-end trade lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3, including interfaces, Datamart, workflow configuration, and platform integration.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in integration technologies and protocols, including:
  • FIX Protocol
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • IBM MQ Messaging
  • SFTP/File-based integrations
• Experience with cloud connectivity and hybrid integration architectures, including Azure, AWS, VPCs, Private Endpoints, and secure networking.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or SQL.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading vendor technology assessments and RFP processes.
