This role requires close coordination with policyholders, garages, surveyors, brokers, insurers, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient claims resolution while maintaining high standards of customer service, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motor Claims Assessment: Review and process motor insurance claims involving vehicle damage, accidents, theft, third-party property damage, and other covered losses.
  • Coverage Verification: Validate policy status, insured vehicle details, coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements, and applicable policy conditions.
  • Accident and Liability Assessment: Review accident reports, police documentation, photographs, witness statements, and other evidence to establish claim circumstances and determine liability in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Repair Cost Evaluation: Assess repair estimates, garage quotations, replacement parts, labor charges, and vehicle damage reports to ensure reasonable and appropriate repair costs.
  • Vehicle Inspection Coordination: Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, assessors, and approved garages to arrange inspections, evaluate damage, and validate repair recommendations.
  • Total Loss Assessment: Evaluate total loss cases, vehicle market values, salvage values, and settlement calculations in accordance with policy terms and applicable guidelines.
  • Third-Party Claims: Manage third-party property damage claims, coordinate liability assessments, and support recovery actions where applicable.
  • Claims Negotiation: Negotiate repair costs, settlement amounts, and disputed claims with garages, claimants, brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Claims Investigation: Identify potential fraud indicators, exaggerated repair costs, inconsistent accident details, duplicate submissions, and suspicious claim patterns for further investigation.
  • Claims Settlement: Calculate approved settlement amounts, apply deductibles and policy limits, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate timely payment processing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure claims handling aligns with applicable UAE motor insurance regulations, policy requirements, internal procedures, and data protection standards.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to policyholder inquiries, explain claim decisions, provide status updates, and manage complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Recovery and Subrogation: Coordinate recovery opportunities with relevant insurers, third parties, and legal teams where contractual and legal grounds permit.
  • Claims Reconciliation: Review outstanding claims, settlement records, repair invoices, recovery balances, and payment discrepancies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare claims reports, monitor loss trends, analyze repair costs, and identify opportunities to improve claims performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Review complex claims decisions, maintain accurate case records, and support consistent application of claims procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to claims workflows, digital claims processing, fraud detection controls, and service delivery.
  • Team Support: Provide technical guidance to junior claims specialists and assist with escalated, high-value, or disputed cases.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Automotive Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in motor insurance claims, automotive damage assessment, claims investigation, or general insurance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, policy wording, exclusions, deductibles, liability assessment, and settlement procedures.
  • Practical experience handling own-damage, third-party liability, theft, total loss, and disputed motor claims.
  • Familiarity with vehicle repair estimates, parts pricing, labor costs, depreciation, salvage valuation, and market value assessment.
  • Understanding of UAE motor insurance regulations, accident reporting procedures, and local claims settlement practices.
  • Experience coordinating with garages, vehicle assessors, loss adjusters, brokers, repair networks, and external service providers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive customer interactions.
  • Ability to assess complex claims objectively and make well-supported decisions within delegated authority.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims, competing priorities, and strict deadlines.
