Job summary

Iron Will is hiring a Senior Mortgage Specialist for the United Arab Emirates. This fully remote role requires 5–8 years in mortgage lending, strong knowledge of UAE regulations, and the ability to guide clients through the mortgage process.

The ideal candidate will manage applications, evaluate affordability, coordinate with banks and legal partners, and ensure compliance with lender policies. Excellent communication and CRM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in mortgage lending, retail banking, property finance, or mortgage brokerage.
• Strong understanding of UAE mortgage products, lending criteria, credit assessment, and property financing procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE Central Bank requirements and applicable mortgage regulations.
• Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage origination or CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from initial assessment through approval and completion.
• Assess client financial profiles, income, liabilities, creditworthiness, and borrowing capacity.
• Explain mortgage products, interest or profit rates, repayment structures, fees, and eligibility requirements.
• Review income statements, bank statements, credit reports, property documents, and supporting financial records.
• Coordinate with banks, mortgage lenders, brokers, valuers, developers, and legal representatives.
• Evaluate mortgage options based on client requirements, affordability, and applicable lending criteria.
• Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding documents, approvals, and conditions.
• Ensure mortgage documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with lender policies.
• Support property financing transactions, including purchases, refinancing, and applicable equity-release arrangements.
• Identify potential application risks, inconsistencies, and affordability concerns.
• Maintain accurate client records and protect confidential financial and personal information.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE mortgage regulations, AML requirements, and internal procedures.
• Resolve application issues and communicate updates clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions and identify suitable financing solutions.
• Prepare reports on application volumes, approval rates, turnaround times, and business performance.
