Job summary

HyperHug is seeking a UI Engineer to implement core and meta-game interfaces in Unity for Oxide: Survival Island on mobile. You will build responsive screens, scalable UI architecture, and animations using DOTween and Timeline while optimizing UI for performance on mobile devices.

Strong hands-on Unity UI experience and a systematic, detail-oriented mindset are required, along with English at B1+ level and Russian at C1 level.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar UI role.
Strong hands-on Unity UI experience.
Solid understanding of UI performance optimization for mobile.
Ability to work independently and propose practical solutions.
Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach.
English B1+ level and Russian C1 level.

Responsibilities

Implement core and meta-game interfaces in Unity.
Build responsive screens that adapt to different resolutions and aspect ratios.
Create and maintain scalable UI architecture, including window structures, reusable components, and UI kits.
Create UI animations using DOTween, Timeline, and custom solutions.
Set up and optimize UI effects using Unity's Particle System.
Optimize UI performance for mobile devices (draw calls, batching, Canvas setup).
Manage text styles, materials, and localization.
Optimize textures, atlases, and import settings.
Create UI materials using Shader Graph.
Refactor and systematize legacy UI.
Create and maintain UI documentation.
Write simple C# scripts when needed.
