Job summary

YallaPlay Games is seeking a veteran UI/UX Art Director to lead mobile game interface design. You will shape visual polish, craft a component-driven design system in Figma, and collaborate with engineers to implement in-engine UI.

With 10+ years of game art experience and 5+ years in UI/UX, you will steer visual decisions, ensure mobile-friendly layouts, and drive asset pipelines for fast, high-quality shipping. UAE remote-friendly role offering visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional game art experience, with 5+ years in UI/UX.
Exceptional skills in composition, color theory, typography, and layout.
Deep understanding of mobile UI design principles and platform guidelines.
Proven track record of shipping at least 2 mobile titles.
Expert knowledge of Figma (auto-layout, components, variables).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience with F2P meta systems like Battle Passes and progression tracks.

Responsibilities

Integrate 2D and 3D elements to maintain visual hierarchy and depth on mobile screens.
Define the overall artistic vision, layout, and visual polish of the game's user interface.
Build and maintain a component-driven UI Design System within Figma.
Develop modular and reusable UI assets tailored for mobile platform constraints.
Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate brainstorming and asset generation.
Collaborate with programmers and tech artists to ensure accurate in-engine implementation.
Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
