Job summary

YallaPlay in the UAE is seeking an experienced QA engineer for mobile games. You will drive comprehensive testing across Android and iOS platforms and collaborate with developers and designers to ensure high quality releases.

Primary focus includes multiplayer game testing, live events, monetization features, and backend integrations. Strong bug-tracking and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience in free-to-play mobile games.
• Experience testing multiplayer or real-time online games.
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and bug life cycles.
• Experience using Jira for bug tracking and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and compatibility testing across Android and iOS devices.
• Test gameplay mechanics, game economy, UI/UX, live events, monetization features, and backend integrations.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps using Jira.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and producers to ensure quality expectations.
• Validate game balance, player progression, and overall player experience.
• Perform device compatibility and performance testing.
• Test localization and support release validation and hotfix verification.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test cases, and documentation.
