Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience or an exceptional portfolio.
• Portfolio of at least 5 completed playable games, prototypes, or commercial titles
• Strong programming fundamentals across frontend and backend systems
• Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Ability to work independently from incomplete briefs and make design decisions
• Strong judgment regarding scope and iteration

Responsibilities

• Take game ideas from concept to complete playable prototype, owning the process from A to Z
• Define and iterate on core game mechanics, rules, player flows, and overall gameplay experience
• Design and implement functional UI/UX for mobile platforms
• Build frontend, game logic, bots, lightweight backend, and multiplayer functionality
• Use AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools to increase development speed
• Scope ideas down to their smallest testable version to validate hypotheses quickly
• Run playtests, analyze results, and recommend whether to iterate, progress, or stop
• Package game rules and technical learnings for handoff to the production team
