Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a UI/UX Director based in the United Arab Emirates to lead design strategy and execution for multinational brands. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, align creative vision with front-end execution, and drive design systems, accessibility, and AI-enhanced prototyping.

You will play a key role in client strategy, executive conversations, and proposals, while owning budgeting, capacity planning, and forecasting in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital design with leadership or executive-level design experience.
• Strong front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks such as React.js.
• Deep experience with design systems, accessibility, and WCAG standards.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, including Shopify and Adobe Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Set creative and technical direction for UI/UX across websites and omnichannel experiences.
• Lead mobile-first design across platforms and ensure consistent customer experiences.
• Oversee design systems, tokens, and front-end handoffs across projects.
• Provide design leadership for complex e-commerce initiatives and AI-enabled prototyping.
• Lead client discussions, proposals, and strategic conversations with executives.
