Job summary

Dicetek LLC is seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator with 4–7 years of hands-on expertise in IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and Apache HTTP Server administration. The role involves installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and 24x7 on-call support in a large enterprise environment.

You will ensure security hardening, SSL policies, compliance, and audit readiness while collaborating with Application, Infra and Security teams to manage change and releases.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server administration.
• Strong expertise in WebSphere 8.5.x/9.x, IBM HTTP Server 8.5.x/9.x, WebSphere Liberty, IBM MQ 9.3/9.4, Tomcat 9.x/10.x/11.x and Apache HTTP 2.4.
• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, performance tuning, stress testing and capacity upgrades.
• Strong production support, troubleshooting and 24x7 on-call experience with incident resolution.
• Expertise in middleware security, hardening, SSL/security policies, compliance and audit readiness.
• Experience with enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation using Qualys or similar tools.
• Strong collaboration with Application, Infrastructure & Security teams, including change/release management, SOPs and documentation.
• Exposure to large enterprise/banking environments, regulatory/audit frameworks, monitoring, backup and automation tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and monitor middleware components (WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server).
• Provide 24x7 on-call production support and rapid incident resolution.
• Ensure security hardening, SSL policies, and audit readiness across middleware stack.
• Coordinate patching, capacity upgrades and performance tuning with infra and apps teams.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for release and change management.
