Job summary

Sobha Constructions LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior MEP Procurement Engineer to lead end-to-end sourcing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages across multiple projects. Qualifications

• 7–18 years of experience in MEP procurement within the construction industry.
• Minimum 5 years in GCC/UAE construction projects.
• Experience in procurement of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Building Services systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of MEP materials, equipment, systems, and subcontract packages.
• Review project specs, drawings, BOQs and procurement schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements per policy.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, commercial and project teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain issues.
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with specs.
• Maintain procurement records, cost-saving initiatives and vendor databases.
