Job summary

Black & Grey HR Consultancy FZE, partnering with a leading Tier 1 contracting company in the UAE, seeks a Senior Planning Engineer – MEP for high-rise building projects. You will lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination of MEP works to ensure timely execution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 8 years of contracting experience, with proven expertise in high-rise projects and strong analytical, communication, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracting companies.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules, work programs, and progress reports for MEP activities.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to hit milestones.
• Review drawings and schedules and support resource planning and forecasting.
• Prepare recovery schedules and progress presentations for management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with timelines, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain planning records and project documentation.
