Job summary

Green Line Electromechanical L. L. C. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of the MEP contracting business in the UAE. You will direct project execution from mobilization to handover, manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships.

The role requires 10–15 years in construction with 5+ years in operations management, fluency in English and Arabic, and PMP/MBA qualifications are advantageous. Travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• At least 5 years in an operations management role.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel between project sites.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of multiple MEP projects across the UAE.
• Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate with Projects Manager, Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, HR and other departments.
• Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure effective allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee execution of MEP works from mobilization to handover.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and schedules.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Review project reports and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain strong relationships with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
• Attend Client meetings and provide operational support during project execution.
• Handle client concerns professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Monitor project profitability and operational costs.
• Review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and monthly and yearly financial reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Support commercial teams in claims, variations, and contractual matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit and retain high-performing operational personnel.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material and equipment delivery.
• Optimize resource utilization across all active projects.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management.
