Job summary

Freesia Electromechanical Works Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to manage and coordinate mechanical works on construction projects, ensuring execution is in line with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and the approved programme.

You will oversee day-to-day MEP activities on site, supervise HVAC, plumbing and firefighting installations, review shop drawings and technical documents, and coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Architectural

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8–12 years of relevant experience in MEP construction projects.
Strong UAE experience in residential, high-rise and villa projects.
Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and mechanical building services.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day mechanical MEP activities at the project site.
Supervise HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and other mechanical installations.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
Coordinate mechanical works with Civil, Electrical, Architectural and other MEP disciplines.
Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers for technical and site requirements.
Ensure mechanical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and UAE standards.
Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and productivity.
