Job summary

Our client in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Site Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee and execute mechanical works on high-rise building projects. You will manage plumbing, drainage, water supply and firefighting systems, ensuring compliance with project specs, standards and schedules.

Key duties include supervising site activities, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, reading drawings, monitoring quality and safety, and supporting testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of site execution experience on high-rise buildings.
• Strong technical knowledge of Plumbing, Drainage, Water Supply and Firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and standards.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all mechanical MEP site activities.
• Coordinate daily site operations with consultants, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, project specifications and applicable standards.
• Monitor site progress, quality and safety to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Plan and coordinate material requirements, manpower allocation and site resources.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain accurate site documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with project management to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
