Job summary

Dutco Construction Co LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with MEP contracting experience to oversee mechanical design, installation, and maintenance projects within the construction sector.

The candidate will design and implement mechanical systems, supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, and perform site visits to ensure progress aligns with plans and standards.

Qualifications

• UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with MEP contracting companies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.
• PE license is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conducting site visits to inspect mechanical work progress and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
