Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a seasoned MEP Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of all MEP systems within a Dubai facilities context. The role requires coordinating preventative maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a PE license or EIT certification highly desirable and 5-7 years of progressive MEP experience in facilities management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. PE/EIT desirable.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in MEP within facilities management.
• Experience managing complex MEP systems in commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all MEP equipment.
• Manage MEP upgrades and retrofits, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MEP malfunctions, perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
