Job summary

Mgrmc in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize automated and robotic systems for high-consequence environments. You will lead cross-disciplinary projects spanning mechanical, electrical, and software domains, and shepherd systems from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automation/robotics, strong CAD and simulation skills, and robust programming ability (C++, Python, ROS). Relocation assistance and cutting-edge projects are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in designing and commissioning automated or robotic systems.
Expert CAD proficiency (SolidWorks) and simulation software.
Strong programming skills for embedded systems and industrial automation (C++, Python, ROS, Ladder Logic).
Experience with vision systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and feedback control theory.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional projects integrating mechanical, electrical controls, sensors, and software.
Design and model robotic cells, automated workstations, and special process equipment using 3D simulation tools.
Develop motion control systems, select actuators and drives, and specify sensor technologies.
Write, test, and debug high-level control software in C++, Python, or MATLAB for machine automation.
Conduct system validation and verification testing to ensure performance and reliability metrics are met.
Create comprehensive documentation including system manuals, operational procedures, and maintenance guides.
