Job summary

Ghobash Group is seeking a senior automation engineer to lead project execution, coordinate teams, and drive design from concept through field installation in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise designers, field engineers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Instrumentation or Mechatronics and a minimum of 10 years in industrial automation, with strong PLC, HMI, and SCADA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical Instrumentation or Mechatronics) with 10+ years in industrial automation.
• Experience with Onshore/Offshore oil & gas or power & utility sectors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution planning and supervise teams including designers and site engineers.
• Design and implement instrumentation and control systems from concept to field installation.
• Review drawings, read logic diagrams, and ensure design deliverables meet client requirements.
