Job summary

Mgrmc in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize automated and robotic systems for high-consequence environments. You will lead cross-disciplinary projects spanning mechanical, electrical, and software domains, and shepherd systems from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automation/robotics, strong CAD and simulation skills, and robust programming ability (C++, Python, ROS). Relocation assistance and cutting-edge projects are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in designing and commissioning automated or robotic systems.
• Expert CAD proficiency (SolidWorks) and simulation software.
• Strong programming skills for embedded systems and industrial automation (C++, Python, ROS, Ladder Logic).
• Experience with vision systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and feedback control theory.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects integrating mechanical, electrical controls, sensors, and software.
• Design and model robotic cells, automated workstations, and special process equipment using 3D simulation tools.
• Develop motion control systems, select actuators and drives, and specify sensor technologies.
• Write, test, and debug high-level control software in C++, Python, or MATLAB for machine automation.
• Conduct system validation and verification testing to ensure performance and reliability metrics are met.
• Create comprehensive documentation including system manuals, operational procedures, and maintenance guides.
