Job summary

Petrofac in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead mechanical and piping site activities on major EPC projects. You will oversee multi-discipline supervision, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with contract, ITPs, and QA/QC requirements.

The role demands strong knowledge of ASME/API codes, extensive field leadership, and mentoring of national staff while maintaining safety and schedule discipline on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in mechanical and piping on direct-hire oil & gas EPC projects.
• Experience with international codes and standards (ASME/API) and QA/QC.
• Strong leadership, communication, and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based construction supervision and manage subcontractors.
• Ensure ITPs, QCPs and QA/QC standards are implemented on site.
• Coordinate with client, engineer and subcontracts to finalize scope and plans.
• Oversee safety programs, toolbox talks and near-miss reporting.
• Monitor progress, drive punch-list closure and weekly schedule updates.
