Job summary

TalentOne is seeking a Senior Mechanical/Piping Lead to oversee construction activities across mechanical, piping, HVAC, painting, insulation, refractory and fireproofing scopes in Abu Dhabi. You will lead site teams, manage schedules, ensure HSE compliance, and coordinate with engineering, clients and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 20+ years of experience in oil & gas EPC environments, strong knowledge of ASME/API codes, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 20+ years mechanical & piping site experience in international Oil & Gas EPC companies and subcontractors; 20+ years HVAC experience for HVAC-focused roles.
• Strong experience in Mechanical, Piping and/or HVAC construction.
• Middle East, CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and subcontractor management skills.
• Fluent English and good computer/MS Office skills.
• Lifting and scaffolding supervision training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams and subcontractors against 90-day and weekly schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, productivity, progress andworkfront readiness.
• Review construction methods, drawings, procedures andsubcontractor execution plans.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, ITPs, QCPs, quality standards andproject requirements.
• Supervise mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, processpiping and HVAC installation.
• Coordinate inspections, technical queries, NCRs, walkdowns andpunch-list closure.
• Manage equipment preservation, pressure testing,pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Client, QC, Vendors andsubcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor subcontractor scope, quantities, variations andcost-related matters.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring toconstruction teams.
