Job summary

Duncan & Ross in the United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in static equipment for FEED and Detailed Design on ADNOC onshore projects.

You will execute equipment sizing, prepare datasheets, review vendor documents, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with ASME/API standards and ADNOC specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 812 years of experience in oil & gas engineering with a focus on static equipment.
• Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Mandatory experience working on ADNOC Onshore projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Pressure Vessels Heat Exchangers Air-Cooled Exchangers Plate Exchangers Filters Reactors and Columns.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support engineering activities for static equipment during FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Perform equipment selection sizing and technical evaluation of pressure vessels heat exchangers air‑cooled exchangers plate exchangers filters reactors and columns.
• Prepare and review datasheets specifications and requisitions for static equipment.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process piping electrical and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications ADNOC standards and international codes (ASME API ISO etc.).
• Review and approve vendor drawings calculations and technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews HAZOPs and model reviews.
• Support procurement construction and commissioning teams as required.
• Resolve technical queries and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
