Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Inspector in Dubai to support major civil, roads and infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, conducting detailed inspections, and coordinating with authorities and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Mechanical Inspector in civil, roads or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience with strong understanding of Dubai authority procedures.
• Knowledge of international and UAE mechanical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical contract documents, design drawings, specifications and updates.
• Inspect mechanical activities including piping, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, irrigation and pump station systems.
• Verify contractor compliance with drawings, standards and mechanical codes.
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Recommend corrective actions for non-conformances and verify closeout.
