Job summary

ALUCOR in Dubai is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer– Mechanical to lead the preparation of competitive bids for major EPC projects across the KSA/UAE region. You will review tender documents, develop accurate estimates, and coordinate with engineering, planning, and commercial teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of cost construction, BOMs, and risk analysis, with a track record in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Water sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 6+ years in mechanical estimation, tendering, and proposal preparation in construction/EPC projects
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Water sectors
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, equipment, and labor costing
• Excellent technical proposal writing and documentation skills
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Review ITB, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
• Identify technical, commercial, contractual, and execution risks.
• Prepare a detailed compliance sheet covering all ITB requirements.
• Prepare the Mechanical BOM and cost sheets.
• Develop manpower and equipment deployment plans and project schedules.
• Coordinate the preparation of complete technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Planning, HSE, and Quality Control departments.
