Job summary

Worley Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead static equipment engineering across FEED, EPC and detailed design for major Oil & Gas projects in the GCC. You will guide design, specifications and procurement of critical equipment, review vendor documentation, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety and schedule alignment.

The role requires extensive experience with ASME/API/TEMA/NACE standards, offshore exposure, and strong leadership for a multinational

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience; GCC preferred.
  • At least 3 years in a similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
  • PMC & ADNOC experience required.
  • FEED & EPC experience in Oil/Gas projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases.
  • Provide technical leadership for design, specification and procurement of static equipment (pressure vessels, columns, exchangers, tanks, reactors).
  • Develop and review equipment datasheets, specs, material requisitions and vendor documentation.
  • Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations and manufacturing procedures.
  • Support constructability reviews, value engineering and cost optimization.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP and technical meetings with clients, vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases of the project.

  • Provide technical leadership for the design, specification, and procurement of static equipment, including pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors, and package equipment.

  • Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA, and ASTM.

  • Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Procurement disciplines to ensure effective integration of static equipment requirements.

  • Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements.

  • Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops, and technical meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors.

  • Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to a team of Senior Engineers, and Engineers.

  • Interface effectively with clients, licensors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution.


Minimum Requirements


  • A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum five (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.

  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

  • PMC & ADNOC experiences are required.

  • Required experience in FEED & EPC Phases of Oil/Gas Projects.

  • Offshore project experience is required.

  • Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, API 661, API 660, TEMA, and NACE requirements.

  • Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management, and fabrication oversight for static equipment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments.
