Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building construction site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial and residential buildings (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Experience preparing technical reports and construction documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment.
• Experience with construction projects in the United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
• Displays knowledge to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques to meet basic specifications.
• Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications.
• Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
• May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.
