Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. in Dubai seeks a Senior Manager of Materials Management to lead the project’s MM effort, develop tracking systems for materials, and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Expediting and Logistics to deliver comprehensive material strategies.

The role requires extensive energy-industry experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools. On-site leadership in the UAE is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred.
• 10+ years in Energy industry across EPCI project delivery.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with offshore/onshore operations.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project’s or area’s materials management effort.
• Develop a material management strategy for tracking and documenting project materials.
• Interface with Engineering and Procurement, Expediting and Logistics for holistic MM methods.
• Oversee planning and optimization of project space and tracking methodology.
• Provide input on budgeting, staffing process, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with QHSES procedures and McDermott policies.
• Own and lead implementation of policies and procedures.
• Prepare Materials Management budget for projects.
