Job summary

The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company seeks a Marine Manager to oversee day-to-day and long-term operations for Maritime Solutions in the UAE. Based at Jebel Ali, you will manage the Tugs, Pilot Boats, and Mooring departments, ensuring uptime, safety, and contractual compliance while coordinating with clients and the General Manager UAE Ports Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Master STCW 2010 Cert of Competency required.
• 10+ years in port marine operations management.
• 5+ years in technical vessel management.
• Experience with vessel acquisition programs.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels are fit for purpose and meet contractual obligations.
• Lead Mooring, Pilot Boats, and Tugs departments.
• Develop vessel programs to optimize crewing and maintenance.
• Monitor staff training and certifications.
• Manage budgets and cost control.
• Liaise with clients on operational matters.
