Job summary

LutechResources is seeking a Senior Principal E&M Specialist to tackle complex marine equipment challenges and guide project execution. You will apply advanced marine engineering principles to oversee equipment used in offshore operations and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients and regulators to mitigate risks and optimize performance across programs, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of marine engineering experience with expertise in marine operations, EPCI projects, and offshore activities.
• Deep knowledge of marine regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert in the marine function for equipment and machinery.
• Oversee equipment and machinery used for marine operations following engineering principles.
• Assess and interpret marine regulations and standards to ensure project compliance.
• Lead marine teams and coordinate cross-functional efforts within timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior professionals.
• Troubleshoot marine electrical and mechanical issues and mitigate downtime.
• Develop maintenance and repair strategies for reliable system performance.
• Manage contractors and vendors to meet project requirements and quality.
• Monitor performance and proactively address risks to ensure project readiness.
