Job summary

Edge Group is seeking a Sr Principal Manufacturing Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of UAV manufacturing processes. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with Design Engineering, Production, QA, Supply Chain, Programs, and Facilities.

You will lead IPT teams to optimize manufacturability, estimate non-recurring costs, and work with suppliers to secure materials and tooling for production.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and optimizing UAV manufacturing processes.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional IPT teams and align stakeholders.
• Proven capability in non-recurring cost estimation including tooling and HR.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development from concept to production.
• Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) in cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material and tooling readiness for UAV parts.
• Estimate capacity, tooling, and HR requirements across manufacturing steps.
