Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group, a diversified regional leader headquartered in Dubai, seeks a Manager in Financial Controlling to drive policy, internal controls and AI-enabled efficiencies. You will partner with Group Finance, lead policy standardization, and guide IAS/IFRS compliance across divisions.

The role requires 5+ years in a supervisory finance role, strong analytical skills, and SAP experience. You will influence audit readiness and automate recurring controlling tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a large organization.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Financial Internal Controls and policy standardization.
• Draft divisional accounting policies and oversee new policy implementation.
• Deliver IAS/IFRS training to Finance and Operations teams.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting judgments and policy questions.
• Stay updated with accounting standards to ensure a sustainable control environment.
• Understand accounting processes for risk identification and advising on positions.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centres and BU Finance for timely close processes.
• Drive Balance Sheet substantiation and KPI reviews.
