DMCC in Dubai seeks a Senior Manager - Crypto Centre to oversee operations, monitor performance, and manage key partner relationships. You will work with the Senior Director – Tech Ecosystems on promoting the centre, achieving revenue and operational targets, and shaping its value proposition.

The role leads growth of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem at DMCC, develops new services and strategic initiatives, for engagement programs, and for partnerships with regulators and industry players.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years business experience, with at least 2 in crypto or blockchain.
• Strong communication skills and high computer literacy.
• Technical knowledge and expertise in blockchain technology.
• Strategic analysis and market awareness, including competitors.
• In-depth knowledge of the crypto and blockchain sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Centre’s alliances and ecosystem partners; measure KPIs.

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager - Crypto Centre role will be responsible for overseeing the Crypto Centre operations and monitoring the performance of the centre and managing key partner and stakeholder relationships.

The senior manager will work with the Senior Director – Tech Ecosystems on promoting the centre, ensuring the revenue and operational targets are met, and will provide input on strategies and key target markets for client acquisition.

The role would be responsible to lead the growth of the crypto & blockchain ecosystem in DMCC and to strengthen its value proposition by developing new services and strategic initiatives and partnerships and delivering engagement and activation programs at the crypto centre.

The senior manager will also be responsible for recommending and championing key blockchain adoption projects for DMCC and its members, and for conducting market and competitor analysis and supporting the Senior Director in the creation of business plans related to strategic projects alliances to grow the ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the team’s operation and maximize the efficiency and productivity of the team and regularly review and look for areas of improvement.
• Monitor the Centre’s performance and ensure that both operational and revenue targets are achieved
• Oversee the Centre’s operations, which includes client onboarding, leasing, and retention, working closely with key functions such as Business Setup, Corporate Sales, Marketing, and Compliance.
• Work with key partners on delivering the center's activation programs (acceleration, incubation, and networking) in collaboration with Marketing.
• Identify collaboration opportunities and develop long-term strategic partnerships with key government stakeholders, businesses and industry bodies relevant to the crypto and blockchain ecosystem (e.g. local regulators)
• Support the Senior Director – Tech Ecosystems by evaluating strategic partnership opportunities in the crypto & blockchain sector, preparing business cases and negotiating with parties on the finer details of the commercial arrangements.
• Develop and manage the performance of the Centre’s strategic alliances and ecosystem partners, ensuring that appropriate KPI’s are in place and measured. Lead discussions with partners regarding the performance against KPI’s and appropriate actions.
• Promote the Centre and generate leads by participating in relevant events, exhibitions, and panel discussions, by working with Marketing on content marketing and digital campaigns.
• Host inbound delegations relevant to the Centre and deliver the Centre’s value proposition, linking it to DMCC’s overall vision and objectives. Identify opportunities for collaboration and lead generation and ensure post meeting follow-up is conducted.
• Provide input to Section Head and Marketing on strategies and key target markets for client acquisition from sector
• Provide input to the Senior Director – Tech Ecosystems to ensure that the Centre’s value proposition and service offering is relevant and competitive and aligned to the free zone strategic goals.
• Prepare the centre’s product development plans and leads cross-functional teams through the design, develop and implement stages of product cycle.
• Monitors the full lifecycle of centre’s product and service offering, recommending appropriate actions to address performance issues.
• Recommend and lead key blockchain adoption projects for DMCC (such as DMCC ecosystem token, tokenization of commodities, and any new initiatives) in collaboration with internal stakeholders (FZ, IT, Marketing, Commodities)
• Coordinates market research and competitive review activities to identify opportunities for improvements and new product development.

Qualifications:

• 5 years business experience, with at least 2 in the field of crypto or blockchain.
• High level of computer literacy and communication skills
• Technical knowledge and expertise (Blockchain)
• Strategic analysis, market knowledge and understanding competitor awareness
• Strong knowledge of the crypto & blockchain sector and technology
