Job summary

Hire Rightt - Executive Search & HR Advisory in Dubai seeks a Senior Manager – Accounting & Reporting to lead accounting, reporting and controllership for the Group. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will own the integrity of the books, drive timely close, and ensure audit readiness across entities.

You will oversee GL, reconciliations, and balance sheet governance, while strengthening policies, internal controls, and cross-geography processes to support ERP and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
• 12–16 years of relevant experience in accounting, controllership, GL, audits, and financial reporting
• Experience with financial close, audits, reconciliations, and balance sheet governance
• Experience in complex multi-entity, multi-geography environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across Group entities
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
• Drive timely preparation and review of financial statements and management accounts
• Strengthen balance sheet governance and resolve aged or unusual items
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, SOPs, internal controls and governance frameworks
• Drive standardization of accounting processes and chart of accounts across entities and geographies
• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters and appropriate treatment
• Strengthen controls around revenue recognition, receivables, payables, fixed assets, payroll, and intercompany
• Lead coordination of statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of findings
• Partner with Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and business finance teams for consistency of financial information
• Drive improvements in close timelines, data quality, and automation
• Support ERP and finance transformation initiatives, escalating significant matters to Group CFO

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant — ICAI
• 12–16 years of relevant experience, with a focus on accounting, controllership, GL, audits, and financial reporting
• Strong hands-on experience with financial close, statutory audits, reconciliations, and balance sheet governance
• Solid grounding in accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
• Experience in complex, multi-entity, multi-geography environments strongly preferred
• A mix of Big 4 and MNC/diversified group/promoter-led organization experience is a plus
