We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead our finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting financial reporting compliance and team leadership. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management compliance with statutory requirements and providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare review and finalize monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and statutory accounting standards.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.

Budgeting Forecasting & Controls

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Monitor cash flow working capital and financial performance against targets.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with all tax legal and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee GST VAT TDS corporate tax and other statutory filings.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team ensuring high performance.
• Establish accounting policies systems and procedures for efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven track record in financial reporting audits taxation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in leading a team and managing end-to-end accounts functions.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g. SAP Tally Oracle QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
