Job summary

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a senior leader to head institutional academic assessment strategy and governance. • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Measurement, Assessment, Curriculum & Instruction, or Institutional Effectiveness (PhD preferred).
• Minimum 8+ years in higher education academic assessment, quality assurance, or institutional effectiveness.
• 3–5 years in senior management within a higher education institution.

• Ensure alignment with CAA standards, course/program learning outcomes (CLOs/PLOs), and specialized accreditation criteria.
• Champion assessment technologies, assessment analytics dashboards, Learning Management System (LMS) integrations, and practical AI applications.
• Manage assessment teams and collaborate with senior academic leadership to drive evidence-based decision-making.

Key Skills Required

• Academic Assessment Strategy: Framework design, moderation, standardization, and high-stakes exam integrity.
• Accreditation & Governance: Deep knowledge of CAA standards, qualification frameworks, and program accreditations.
• Assessment Technology & Analytics: Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Canvas/Blackboard), digital assessment tools, AI applications, and performance dashboards.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Education, Educational Measurement, Assessment, Curriculum & Instruction, or Institutional Effectiveness (Doctorate/Ph.D. preferred).
• Total Experience: Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in higher education academic assessment, quality assurance, or institutional effectiveness.
• Leadership Experience: 3–5 years in a senior management role within a higher education institution.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience executing system-wide assessment strategies, managing accreditation reviews, and utilizing assessment data for academic enhancement.
