Confidential Company seeks an experienced Senior Villa Maintenance Technician to oversee MEP systems in a luxury private villa in Dubai. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and home-automation systems while coordinating with external contractors.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs, ensuring uninterrupted operation of high-end villa infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in luxury villa, estate, hotel, residential, or facility maintenance.
• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, HVAC, Electromechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Additional certifications in HVAC, electrical maintenance, BMS, or automation systems are advantageous.
• Proven experience managing MEP systems in high-end private residences or premium hospitality environments.
• Strong practical experience in HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Solid electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience working with smart home systems, building automation, and automated swimming pool systems.

Responsibilities

• MEP Maintenance Operations: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all MEP systems throughout the villa. Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment.
• HVAC Systems: Operate, maintain and troubleshoot central air-conditioning systems, chillers, package units, FCUs, AHUs, ventilation systems and related controls.
• Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot electrical faults, power outages, circuit breaker issues, lighting systems, control panels and distribution boards.
• Home Automation Smart Systems: Operate and maintain home automation systems controlling lighting, HVAC, curtains, security, audio-visual systems and other smart technologies.
• Swimming Pool Water Features: Oversee operation and maintenance of automated swimming pool systems.
• Contractor Vendor Management: Coordinate and supervise external contractors and maintenance service providers.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Villa Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance operation and troubleshooting of all Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing MEP systems within a luxury private villa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of critical home infrastructure including HVAC systems, electrical networks, home automation controls, lighting systems, water features, swimming pool equipment and associated technologies. The role requires a highly hands‑on technical professional with strong diagnostic and problem‑solving capabilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving complex maintenance issues while coordinating with specialist contractors when required.

Essential Functions

• MEP Maintenance Operations: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all MEP systems throughout the villa. Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment. Ensure uninterrupted operation of all villa infrastructure and utilities. Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance requirements and proactively address potential issues.
• HVAC Systems: Operate, maintain and troubleshoot central air‑conditioning systems, chillers, package units, FCUs, AHUs, ventilation systems and related controls. Diagnose and rectify HVAC performance issues, temperature imbalances, refrigerant leaks and control system faults. Coordinate major maintenance activities with external HVAC contractors when required.
• Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot electrical faults, power outages, circuit breaker issues, lighting systems, control panels and distribution boards. Perform minor electrical repairs and replacements while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Monitor backup power systems, generators, UPS systems and emergency lighting.
• Home Automation Smart Systems: Operate and maintain home automation systems controlling lighting, HVAC, curtains, security, audio‑visual systems and other smart technologies. Diagnose faults in integrated building management and smart home systems. Coordinate with automation vendors for system upgrades and specialist repairs.
• Swimming Pool Water Features: Oversee operation and maintenance of automated swimming pool systems. Monitor pool pumps, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment, heating systems and control panels. Ensure water quality standards are maintained and pool equipment operates efficiently. Troubleshoot issues related to automated pool management systems and water features.
• Contractor Vendor Management: Coordinate and supervise external contractors and maintenance service providers. Ensure works are completed to the required standards and within agreed timelines. Maintain service records, maintenance schedules, warranties and equipment manuals.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure safe operation of all villa systems and equipment. Adhere to health, safety and environmental best practices. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when necessary.
