Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Electronic Trading Engineer to design and build low-latency, event-driven trading systems for real-time streaming, pricing, and execution. You will work closely with traders, quants, and platform teams in a front-office technology role.

The role requires 10+ years in capital markets tech, strong C# and Python skills, and expertise in market data, pricing libraries, and venue connectivity. On-site in Abu Dhabi with a cutting-edge trading platform awaits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Capital Markets technology.
• 7+ years of electronic trading platform development.
• Experience in cross-asset trading platforms and pricing frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-native deployment (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Smart Order Routing / algorithmic execution.
• Strong programming in C# (latency-critical) and Python.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency design.
• Experience with messaging frameworks (Kafka, Solace, JMS) and real-time streaming APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, low-latency trading applications.
• Create event-driven architecture for market data, pricing, and streaming.
• Integrate pricing libraries and quant models into real-time flows.
• Develop market data handlers and real-time streaming to clients.
• Implement connectivity to venues and develop order routing & execution workflows.
• Ensure STP pipelines for accurate, auditable trade processing.
• Collaborate with front office, quants, and infra to deliver platform evolution.
