Job summary

IC Markets Global in Dubai seeks a Senior .NET Engineer to design, develop and optimize real-time, high-concurrency microservices for our fintech trading platform.

You will work in an Agile squad, applying Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice, and CQRS; utilize Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and observability tools to deliver low-latency, secure systems with strong unit and integration tests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with strong .NET Core and C# focus.
• Deep multi-threaded and asynchronous programming expertise for distributed systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot/Codex, Cursor).
• Designing domain-driven microservices using Clean Architecture or Vertical Slice.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven systems with Kafka, AWS SQS or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Kibana.
• CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
• Agile methodologies under Scrum.
• Git and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable domain-driven microservices.
• Collaborate in cross-functional Agile squads to deliver low-latency systems.
• Implement OpenTelemetry tracing and ensure full observability.
• Write maintainable, testable code with TDD and perform reviews.
• Collaborate with PO/SM to refine requirements and prioritize work.
• Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of trading applications.
