Job summary

Forward Role Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) for a Dubai-based crypto HFT trading firm. You will build market data pipelines, connect to crypto venues, and implement live trading algorithms in a high-speed environment.

You will optimize for microseconds, lead initiatives end to end, and collaborate across teams while preparing to scale a distributed team. Dubai or remote work options with a fast-paced, multicultural finance setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in C++, total 10+ years software development.
• Proven track record in high-load, low-latency systems.
• Strong design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Network protocol fluency; Websockets/FIX/Kafka exposure is a bonus.
• Experience in financial markets or HFT is preferred.
• Debugging instincts for prod-only bugs.
• Willingness to lead a distributed team in the future.
• System-level/network performance tuning skills.
• Aspiration to lead remote-friendly development teams.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining market data + exchange connectivity to crypto exchanges
• Developing and extending live trading algorithms
• Optimising the trading system for micros/nanos — not a KPI, a religion
• Leading technical initiatives end to end, requirements through deployment
• Working across teams without being precious about your code
