Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Electronic Trading Engineer in Abu Dhabi to design and build low-latency, event-driven trading systems that integrate market data, pricing libraries, and real-time execution venues. This front-office role involves close collaboration with traders, quants and platform teams to deliver deterministic latency and scalable architecture.

The candidate will work on market data ingestion, pricing orchestration, and real-time streaming, with emphasis on STP pipelines,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in capital markets technology.
• Minimum 7+ years in electronic trading platform development.
• Experience in cross-asset trading platforms and pricing frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS / Azure) and containerization.
• Exposure to Smart Order Routing / algorithmic execution.
• Strong multithreading, concurrency and low-latency design understanding.
• Experience with messaging frameworks (Kafka, JMS) and REST/WebSocket APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency trading applications.
• Build event-driven architecture for market data, pricing, and streaming.
• Integrate quantitative pricing libraries into real-time trading flows.
• Develop market data handlers, tick processing, normalization and distribution.
• Implement connectivity to trading venues and internal liquidity sources.
• Support order routing logic, RFQ, streaming and DMA workflows.
• Ensure real-time STP pipelines with accuracy, resilience and auditability.
• Collaborate with front office, quants, infra and production teams across the SDLC.
