Job summary

Motei & Associates in Dubai seeks a Senior Litigation Lawyer with 10+ years of UAE practice to lead complex disputes from filing through judgment and execution. The role requires independent case management and superior Arabic drafting with strong English proficiency.

You will handle civil, commercial, corporate, construction, banking and real estate matters before UAE courts, draft pleadings, manage hearings and supervise junior lawyers; international arbitration experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' legal experience, including at least 5 years in a Dubai/UAE law firm.
• Excellent Arabic drafting skills and proficiency in English.
• Strong ability to independently handle litigation from filing to final execution.

Motei & Associates, an established boutique law firm with 25 years of presence in Dubai, is seeking an accomplished Senior Litigation Lawyer with extensive hands-on experience in UAE court proceedings.

We are looking for a seasoned litigator capable of independently managing complex disputes from case filing through judgment, appeals and final execution.

Important – Strict Eligibility Criteria

This position is strictly for lawyers currently practising litigation in UAE law firms. In-house counsel, non-practising lawyers and candidates without recent, hands-on UAE court litigation experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil, commercial, corporate, construction, banking and real estate litigation before UAE courts.
• Develop litigation strategies, assess claims and advise on substantive and procedural legal issues.
• Draft and review statements of claim, defence memoranda, appeals and execution applications.
• Manage court proceedings, hearings, court-appointed experts and procedural deadlines.
• Oversee enforcement proceedings, including asset attachments and recovery measures.

Additional Advantage

• Experience in international arbitration and proceedings before the DIFC and ADGM Courts will be considered a distinct advantage.

Strict Candidate Requirements
