Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to oversee all litigation and dispute resolution across global operations. You will manage multi-jurisdictional matters and work closely with senior leadership to mitigate risk and protect company interests.

The role requires UK qualification, 10+ years of post-qualification experience in litigation, and in-house multinational exposure. You will liaise with external counsel, guide strategy, and help steer regulatory and commercial risk on

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent international qualification).
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
• In-house experience within a multinational company, preferably in telecoms, tech, or regulated industries.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation and regulatory disputes.
• Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all litigation and dispute resolution matters across jurisdictions, including civil, commercial, regulatory, and employment-related cases.
• Act as the key point of contact for external legal counsel, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and strategic handling of litigation.
• Advise the executive team and board members on litigation strategy, legal risk, and case developments.
• Oversee pre-litigation dispute resolution, negotiations, settlements, and mediation processes.
• Work closely with internal legal, compliance, HR, and finance teams to gather documentation and prepare for legal proceedings.
• Monitor and assess potential legal risks and exposure arising from operations, contracts, or regulatory issues.
• Maintain internal litigation tracking systems, reporting key developments to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure that litigation strategies align with the overall business and regulatory objectives of the group.
• Develop and implement internal policies and training to reduce litigation risk.
