Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Dubai is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to grow the Landscape Architecture Team and lead project delivery across design stages.

You will create innovative landscape concepts, coordinate with clients and teams, and develop detailed drawings and grading plans to meet local standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Experience delivering landscape projects through all design stages.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture and sustainability.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Create strong and unique landscape concepts and lead design development throughout the full scope.
• Lead or support project coordination, client communication, and timeline management.
• Support developing plan layouts, sections and elevations graphically and technically.
• Develop grading plans ensuring functional, accessible and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
• Prepare material specifications in locally and universally acceptable standards.
• Work flexibly across different projects in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support continuous improvement and digital ways of working.
• Demonstrate safe, ethical and inclusive behaviours aligned to Mott MacDonald values.

About the Role

Mott MacDonald is currently looking for a Senior Landscape Architect in Dubai, to grow their Landscape Architecture Team for supporting the delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

• Create strong and unique landscape concepts and leading design development throughout the full scope, ensuring creativity and functionality in project outcomes.
• Lead / Support project coordination, client communication/facing, and timeline management, ensuring projects are delivered on time with given resources.
• Support developing plan layouts, sections, and elevations graphically and technically in relevant softwares
• Develop grading plans that ensure functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
• Prepare material specifications in locally and universally acceptable standards.
• Work flexibly across different projects adjusting to project-specific needs in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Support continuous improvement and digital ways of working, sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
• Demonstrate safe, ethical and inclusive behaviours aligned to Mott MacDonald values.

Candidate Specification:

• A degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Experience in delivering landscape architecture projects for all design stages.
